When talking about the placenta encapsulation I love to mention beef liver. I’m sure we’ve all heard our grandparents talk about the benefits of eating liver, especially if you were anemic. Organ meat in general is full of nutrients and iron, the placenta is organ meat that was created by your body and no different. The placenta has nutrients such as vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin E, iron, cytoknes, and stem Cells, as well as various hormones including oxytocin, estrogens, progesterone, human placental lactogen, ACTH and CRH

Folks who have ingested their placenta have reported experiencing:

Your placenta is sectioned off for the tincture, capsules and umbilical cord is separated. The placenta section that will be used for the tincture will be put into the tincture bottle & filled with alcohol. The placenta section for the capsules will then be dehydrated, along with the umbilical cord that is shaped. Once everything is fully dehydrated The umbilical cord keepsake will be stored & the Placenta will be pulverized. The pulverized Placenta will then be made into capsules.

The amount of capsules you get depends on the size of your placenta. Everyone’s placenta is sized and shaped differently. We won’t know how many capsules you will get until the process is all done. Overall, I’ve seen a range of 80-300 capsules per placenta.

A tincture is a concentrated alcohol extract of a medicinal material such as herbs, roots or in this case placenta. Maceration is one of the oldest and simplest extraction techniques. Macerated tinctures are made by soaking and shaking the ingredients in alcohol over various weeks.

In simple terms a tincture is a liquid extract. The 4oz placenta tincture is great because the shelf life is much longer than the capsules. Placenta capsules are the freshest for the first year, however they start to loose their potency over time.

If you are struggling with or recovering from substances, please request a vegetable glycerite instead. A glycerite is an extract using vegetable glycerin. A glycerite has a much shorter shelf life compared to alcohol tinctures. Either way the having a liquid extract can be very convenient!

The umbilical cord has left an unremovable mark on all of our lives. Our belly button is a scar reminding us of the sacred bond between our placentas and ourselves. While in utero the umbilical cord was our life line, nurturing us by supplying oxygen, nutrients and filtering out waste. Keeping an Umbilical cord keepsake is a great way to honor and remember this sacred bond.

An umbilical cord keepsake is made out of your baby’s umbilical cord, by shaping and dehydrating it. Depending on its length, it is snapped into a heart, spiral or even the word ‘love’, the dehydration process preserves the cord while locking the shape in forever. The cord keepsake can be kept in a baby book, framed, or in a sacred place of your liking.

The placenta is organ meat the body creates to house and grow your baby. When meat is buried it can take up to 3months to decompose, but only in the right conditions. Having such a sacred raw piece of meat in the ground for so long, poses the risk of animals digging it up.

Choosing to get your placenta pulverized via the burial bundle allows you to burry your placenta knowing nothing will tamper with your sacred placenta. This also allows you to easily incorporate your powdered placenta into the soil of houseplants, when burying it outside isn’t accessible.

Many folks have even used their powdered placenta very creatively by pouring into the sea, pouring into ceremonial fires and more!

Lotus birth is the practice of leaving the umbilical cord uncut after birth so that the baby is left attached to the placenta until the umbilical cord naturally falls off. This usually happens within 3–10 days after birth.

This bundle includes a cloth placenta bag, herbal salt mix, and chucks pads. This bundle was created to provide ease and comfortability through everyday tasks while your baby is attached to the placenta.

After birth you will place the placenta into the cloth bag, being sure to put the provided chucks pads in between the bag and the placenta. This bag provides the convenience of storing your placenta while it is still attached to your little one. Next the herbal salt mix can be sprinkled on top of the placenta, this mixture encourages the drying process while preventing any unwanted odor.
